Luke and Megs Wedding

December 23, 2016  •  Leave a Comment

So timely blogging is NOT my forte but I did want to share this beautiful late August wedding with you. We loved all the effort that this couple put into making this wedding such a lovely, warm wedding! Some of my favorite touches... Opa's belt (look at Megs all dressed up...), beautiful family antiques, Opa-made birdhouses at the reception, and lights in the trees. Thanks for letting us be a part of your amazing day Luke and Megs. Blessings on you both!

So happy to be able to photograph this fun family... especially because of the family connection. Can anyone spot my brother?? He's so blessed to have such lovely inlaws! Gardiner Park was a great location with lots for the kids to see and do. Thanks Horch family!

And good job little ones.... you did great!

Mitchell and Kaden Grad

So... this was fun! Mitchell is my cousin and Kaden is his good friend and future university roommate. According to MEI tradition, grad requires a red carpet entry with a "please be creative" requirement. I'm guessing these guys got a LOT of laughs!!

It's been such a privilege witnessing Mitchell growing up and being able to see him mature in his faith and love for the Lord. He's had his struggles with his knee (hence the photo at the end) but no matter what the circumstances, with God's strength, he was able to trust in the Lord and be so gracious with the disappointments that he endured. So proud of you Mitchell and thankful for your family and your quiet, humble spirit!

Kaden I don't know you as well but I surely know you have chosen an excellent friend! Praying for you both in this next stage of life!

It was certainly a pleasure to meet the complete Foster family. In my previous post you met one branch of this family and now.... here's the full and extended version!

We were so pleased to be able to create some photographs for this family before a move separated them. Never underestimate the importance of a good family photo. They are the building blocks of family memories and the effort is worth it!!

Foster Family

Ever wondered what a mini session looks like? Here is a family session from one of our minis. 30 minutes of photography is often enough to capture all that you need to remember your family as they are now!

We know this family from school and our girls have become good friends so it was a privilege to capture their immediate family and also their extended family. But for now.... here are the Foster's!

Thanks Foster's! Extended family is coming up next.....
