It's a rainy, cold day here in BC but I'm smiling and enjoying the photos of these two lovely people. This night was perfect... the light, the fluff in the air (what is that stuff called anyway?)..... It was the perfect night for both natural and off camera light! My favorite! Even more than the technical photo geek stuff we loved getting to know Luke and Emily a little bit better! It's always encouraging to chat with an engaged couple that know how they are different and also complementaryand then watch them take care of each other. Really looking forward to this September wedding!
It is such an honor to have a photographed a couple's wedding then also be able to capture their first baby!! Jackie and Mario's wedding was a wet, windy west coast adventure but it was such an incredible day as family and friends all pitched in to make it so memorable. Jackie has a love for Fluevog shoes....
And they showed up again! Love this little guy and all his expressions. I even got a cuddle at the end!
Just look at these two! We had such a fun session with them at Megan's family farm in Mission. The barn is so beautiful and Megan's personal touches made everything perfect. So excited to photograph their wedding and outdoor garden reception in August.
Thanks to all of you for your patience. I've been struggling with a new blog import/format/everything and this is my first try... let me know if something is really weird on your computer please!!
What a fun, lively session this was! I was so pleased when Kacey contacted me to use a session that they had purchased at an auction to raise money for the Casa De Luz Children's Center in Mexico. She wanted photos for her Mom for Mother's Day and we had a hilarious time wrangling these cute little cousins! I think you'll get a good idea of their love for each other and their young rambunctiousness (is that a word??)......
Thank to Kacey for inviting me into your almost completed reno and being brave enough to take photos!

Ok… I admit it. I’m totally biased but this little one is so delicious. As if I wouldn’t already be completely smitten, she had to go and be the perfect baby model. Twist, turn, flip… she slept through it all. Amazing.
My brother and sister in law were also brave enough to let me have a crack at a lifestyle session and I loved it. So easy and natural and we even managed to corral my other beautiful, though somewhat more active and determined, niece into some adorable shots.
So blessed and so happy to share these with you!
